Professional Development

Overview

Strength to Strength is a professional development program hosted by Scanlon Foundation for emerging organisations working towards social cohesion.

The six workshops feature guest speakers and interactive opportunities to learn more, covering the following topics:

  • Strategy & Vision
  • Governance & People
  • Finance & Fundraising
  • Stakeholders & Communication
  • Public Relations & Marketing
  • Impact & Success

The program is free of charge and participating organisations are matched with mentors who bring professional experience and a desire to learn alongside the emerging leaders. Following the workshop series, the program leads provide participants with one-on-one support. This program is tailored for:

  • leaders of small and emerging groups or organisations
  • those interested in growing their organisations, and
  • those interested in connecting with other like-minded organisations

If you are in Melbourne or Sydney would like to enquire about becoming a participating organisation or a mentor, then please contact us at foundation@scanlonfoundation.org.au.
